FAQ's
ENTRANCE UPDATE:
Times: Gates open at 5PM.
PARKING: Parking is limited. Utilize Ride Share or Taxis or drop offs for easy access and exit. We suggest arriving early as traffic can become congested after 7PM. In addition...EXITING after the event can get backed up. Be prepared.
Show Kite Set-up times: Kites Set up in winds above 4MPH. We usually have these flying wind permitting as soon as the gates open. The kites will fly until the winds become optimal for Hot Air Balloons to set up.
Balloon Set-Up times: Weather is the unknown variable. Balloons do NOT set up in the rain or when the wind gusts are higher than 12-14 mph.. this usually happens around DUSK, however it could be before. Information will be shared at the Venue VIA the QR Code Links located at the entrance gates and around the venue. We will also share updates on weather and balloons info on our website

SHOW: Balloon Glow & Laser Show is at 9:00PM - Show last about 45 minutes and gates stay open until at least 11PM! Just because the Balloon Glow & Laser Show itself ends does not mean the FESTIVAL is over. Enjoy your time and relax! We will continue giving balloon rides until everyone who wants a Hot Air Balloon ride gets one. (weather permitting of course)
Balloon Rides: Balloon rides are an additional $35 per person and can only be purchased during the event. Balloon rides require very mild winds (below 8MPH) and no rain to operate safely. FYI You may also see balloons up and NO RIDES will be available because the winds are too high to safely do Balloon Rides. Use the QR Code to sign up for balloon rides and see other festival related info. If you head over to the Balloon Ride tent you will see a flagpole with Flags for different balloon operations. YELLOW FLAG is for BALLOON OPERATIONS ON HOLD GREEN FLAG is for Balloon are a GO!
FASTPASS** If you have a FAST PASS you don't need to register, just go to the front of the line at the BALLOON RIDE tent. We will also share updates on weather and balloons on our website www.BalloonShows.com.
When you arrive at the festival we suggest scanning the QR code at the entrance (or go to www.BalloonShows.com) to be entered into the QUEUE line for a balloon ride, UNLESS you have a FAST PASS. If you have a FAST PASS you don't need to register, just go to the front of the line at the BALLOON RIDE tent. We will also share updates on weather and balloons on our website https://balloonshows.com/this-weekends-show.
WEATHER: If the Balloons or Kites don't set up - If the Balloons cannot set up due to rain or high winds we will still have a the Monster Show Kites performing and end the evening with the fantastic Laser Show at 9PM. IN ADDITION: If you come out Friday and the Balloons or Kites do not setup, you may use your ticket again Saturday. If you don't attend until Saturday and the balloons do not setup Saturday, your ticket will be good again at next years festival or any other affiliated Balloon festival. We will update our website www.BalloonShows.com with any weather related advisories. The Balloon Team will make announcements and updates VIA the PA system by the Main Stage and the WEBSITE- www.BalloonShows.com.
Kids Area: we will have a kid related activities like bounce houses etc. This is a RIDE VENDOR and prices are additional for these rides. See VENDOR for details. (Weather Permitting)
Live Music: We will have a central stage area with a great music by a fantastic DJ.
Bathrooms: Multiple clean sanitary and monitored bathrooms are available in the Fairgrounds. See map for location: https://balloonshows.com/festival-map

Seating: You may set up your own chairs on the grass. There is lots of room and no matter where you are you should have a great view of the balloons! Please see map for DESIGNATED SEATING AREAS. Please do not sit right in front of vendors. MAP: https://balloonshows.com/festival-map
NO OUT OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK OR COOLERS are allowed, Bags are subject to search.
NO TENTS: Umbrellas are ok as long as they don't block the view of anyone around you.
Balloon Glow & Laser Show starts at 9:00PM
VIP Seating Section: VIP seating is just to the left of the Balloon Ride operation, near the balloon rides (SEE MAP). Bring your own chairs. We will have FREE liquid refreshments and a great unobstructed view of the balloons, plenty of room to spread out and dedicated Portable bath rooms!
Handicap Parking: Have your ticket and Handicap Placard ready to be directed to the Handicap Parking area. Parking based on availability
